A dark purple and more compact leaf version of the common bougainvillea. It has a more dense growth habit and is very good for a tight hedge or left as an open form. Hardy sun loving tall bush or can be trimmed to shape or kept as a small hedge. Versatile shrub for very hot sun positions.
